1990 MONTBLANC 149 Meisterstuck Fountain Pen
!!! 14K Two Tone BROAD STUB NIB !!!
Here is a stunning fully original unrestored MINT surviving 149 from 1990. This exact configuration was made for just one year only and thats in 1990.
Just after this the serial numbers were introduced etc. This is still fully Germany handmade master built pen. This features the 14K two tone nib, the ''Germany'' clip, the two piece body, slightly larger top star, high ink capacity barrel, brass rear section and older style imprints etc. Just a stunning and MINT pen that seems hardly ever to have been used at all.
It has the very very rare BROAD STUB bold nib which is smooth as silk and with a rich ink flow and even some natural flex! A beautiful piece made of natural precious resin and gold. The whole pen has been thoroughly checked and is working perfectly as well. Very smooth writer!
Lines from  0.2mm to 1.05mm easily possible.
The 149 is the legendary 'Diplomat' or 'Cigar' meisterstuck favoured by kings and presents over the years including the Pope, Q.E.II and even John Kennedy...Montblanc most distinguished and largest production pen for decades. These older ones are far far nice than the new ones.
