Up for sale is this 19th C. Antique Primitive Blacksmith Made 8" Hand Food Dice Slice Chopper Kitchen
Tool.
This Awesome 19th Century hand wrought blacksmith chopper, it is unsigned.
It has a nice wooden handle with good patina.  No apparent maker marks, looks to be hand forged.
The overall measurements are approx 8" W x 6" H with a 5-1/2" handle.  Cutting blade measures 8" W x 2" H.
The handle is tang through and tight and strong (see photos) The wooden handles still shows it scribe mark from centuries ago.   Curved blade has some rust, pitting and scars (see close-up) and just needs to be cleaned up. I would suggest a good honing to bring it up to optimal cutting.(see all photos)
A great tool in excellent usable condition.
It is in "as found" wonderful condition fresh out of a carpenters tool box this week.....
