NO CASE or box or paperwork, Montblanc Meisterstuck 585 piston fill fountain pen and matching mechanical pencil.  Caps marked W-Germany. The only thing I noted about the condition was some marks/scratches on the interior mechanical pencil eraser barrel assembly inside the pen (the pencil works, see photos to see that interior barrel assembly).  Pen has 4810 14K nib (and the model 585 is below that on the nib).  This is from a local estate. The pen was empty so I tested it by drawing up clear water with the piston fill mechanism works, I wrote out a little note with the diluted water/ink (see photos).  The piston works over the entire range, no leaking was detected.  After testing I expelled the fluid.  The mechanical pencil operates smoothly, it used a twist mechanism to advance the lead (in the photos I didn't show the lead extended but I did verify that the lead loads fine and the mechanism works with no issues).  As already noted there are scratches or marks on that metal barrel with plastic top that has the eraser at the end, not sure why.  All of the threads on both the pen and pencil are fine.  No cracks on the barrels or caps.  Cap clips are solid with no play or looseness.  Both the pen and pencil have some light natural wear from use but no heavy wear, I don't see abnormal barrel wear from posting the cap on the pen body.  The nib tines are not bent or uneven.  As noted these came from a local estate, there were a few personal pens I was able to buy, the owner had been involved in company branding/advertising on consumer fountain pen brands like Sheaffer and Cross.
