For your consideration I have this extremely rare Montblanc Simplo 222 Fountain Pen in Platinum Striped celluloid with gold filled trims.
According to the 'Collectible Stars' book this pen can be found 'once in a blue moon'.
Push-button filler and fitted with a stainless steel Extra Fine nib and a
ski-slope feed
.
The cap is imprinted with 'MONT (M) BLANC'.
The barrel is imprinted with 'SIMPLO - ORIGINAL (*) MONTBLANC - D.R.P. 508058'
The push-button is imprinted with '222' and 'EF'
The pen was made in Germany in the 1930s and is in absolutely excellent vintage condition.
Barrel and cap shows some light scratches.
The cap rings can be rotated.
The sac has dried out and needs to be replaced.
Comes in a protective unbranded pen case and will be shipped by registered and fully insured mail.
