    Montblanc Edgar Allen Poe LE Fountain Pen
    Beautiful 1998 Writer's Series Montblanc Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen Limited Edition 14973/17000. This pen comes with the original inner and out boxes and Montblanc documentation.
    This Montblanc Limited Edition Writers Series Edition is known as the Edgar Allan Poe Fountain Pen. Edgar Allan Poe’s gold-colored signature is inscribed on the cap. Victorian ornamentation decorates the gold-plated ring under the clip and, as a further tribute to the author. All of the gold plated trim is polished and displays no wear. This Edgar Allan Poe is a limited edition number, "1497317000".
    The cap and barrel are in excellent condition with no cracks, nicks, scratches, or repairs. The fountain pen measures 5 3/4" capped and 6 5/8" posted.
    This Montblanc fountain pen uses a piston filling system and I have tested with water and works as it was designed to.
    The 18-karat gold nib pays tribute to the Raven with an engraving of the bird and is marked. "4810, 18K/750, Montblanc Logo, 1998, MONTBLANC". This nib is designated as a Medium.
