Specific description:
Condition: Used – The pen is in excellent working condition. The pen has been fully serviced by one of the best service people in the industry. The cork was replaced and the piston was fully serviced. The pens body is in amazing shape that are no deep or significant scratches or bruising on the celluloid. The gold accents are in extraordinary shape for the age of the pen, there is no scratches or dulling on the gold accents. The accents really set off the pen, and it is very nice that they are shiny as a lot of these vintage pens have dulling and damage on the gold accents and it makes the whole pen look a bit tattered.
The pen comes with the original case from the period, I will also include a current Montblanc box as it will offer greater protection for the pen in transport.

Type: Masterpiece – this is a lot rarer as this was for the export market.
Special: This was made from a green striated celluloid this was one of the rarest materials that was used. Very collectable and rare pen.
Size: Medium - Cap on: 12.8cm | 5” inches.
Nib: M- Nib – 14C with a very desirable sky slope feed
Year: Early 1950’s due to the sky slop feed.
Other: Inscribed in the celluloid at the filling knob end is: 142 and M-, you'll find this on several Montblanc fountain pens from the 1950' – not before and not after. Very rare nib.
There is a XX mark under the clip of the pen this
indicates that the clip is made of 20k solid gold.
