Diamond Eye Tear Stain Remover removes discoloration around the pet's eyes, leaving the fur clean and comfortable for your pet. Yeast in the eye causes leakage and turns the fur a yellowish colour. Due to their stubborn nature, the stains sometimes require more than just water to clear them away. Additionally, Diamond Eye Tear Stain Remover is gentle on your pet and removes stains and debris blocking the tear ducts, leaving your pet's eyes nice and clean. The solution is easy to use and can be applied to stains in other places on your pet. It is 100% safe for all breeds of dogs, cats, and small animals. Clip excess hair from your pet's face and saturate a small q-tip with Diamond Eye. Swab both eyes with a separate applicator up to three times daily, depending on the stain's condition

This is a British product. The maker, Vitacoat changed the formula some years back and a few years after ultimately discontinued the entire product. Now it has become increasingly hard to find since it was discontinued many years ago, especially in its original formula and bottles like this have sold in excess of . In that time some manufacturers have stepped up to make a new product to replace this one but it is generally believed the new products are just not as effective.

Stored properly, an eye wash such as this can last five to ten years beyond its expiration date. Using an eye wash beyond its expiration date is generally recognized as safe, as expired eye wash does not go bad like food. Many expiration dates are set very conservatively because it benefits the manufacturers. It is not dangerous to use expired eye wash, however due diligence and checking with a vet is still never-the-less recommended.
