✒️MONTBLANC 342 Fountain Pen 14k F Flex Nib & Feed (For Parts).
This came off a vintage Montblanc 342 many years ago. For use as parts only.
I am not sure what year 342 it is. The nib writes as Fine Point with some flex. I am not sure if the collar can be used. It looks like there is some ink crusted inside. I would not rely on the collar, but I am still including it here for anyone who wants to try to salvage & clean it.
History: The original pen developed a piston problem. The piston snapped/broke off, and I could not save the entire pen. Plus, I did not know how to seal it from the piston handle. It kept leaking ink from the top.
Anyway, I ended up just keeping the nib, feed, and collar. This incident happened back in 2015. I kept the nib, feed, and collar hoping I could find a replacement pen. But over the years, I decided to move away from vintage pens, and just buy modern fountain pens where the spare parts can still be purchased.
I am selling it now because I have no intention of replacing the 342 pen anymore. I am done with vintage pens.
